Dayna J. Clark is a dedicated Miami criminal defense attorney at Rier Jordan P.A., bringing her diverse legal background and bilingual communication skills to serve clients across South Florida. Born in West Palm Beach and raised in The Bahamas, Dayna is of Hispanic (Nicaraguan) descent and speaks fluent Spanish, allowing her to effectively represent a wide range of clients with cultural understanding and compassion.
Dayna earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences from the University of Florida in 2015. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law, where she began her legal career as a member of the inaugural Wrongful Convictions Unit at the State Attorney’s Office in Orlando. This early experience shaped her passion for justice and fairness within the criminal justice system.
As an Assistant State Attorney, Dayna prosecuted cases ranging from traffic and misdemeanor offenses to first-degree felonies, gaining invaluable trial and courtroom experience. After her tenure as a prosecutor, she transitioned into private criminal defense, using her insider perspective to defend clients against serious charges including sexual battery, domestic violence, and narcotics offenses. She also broadened her practice to include civil law and workers’ compensation before joining Rier Jordan P.A.
Today, Dayna applies her extensive experience and prosecutorial insight to zealously defend clients facing criminal charges in Miami and throughout Florida. Known for her strong advocacy, bilingual representation, and commitment to justice, Dayna strives to protect her clients’ rights and achieve fair, successful outcomes in every case.
