Michele Borchew was born in Chicago and attended University of Illinois - Chicago receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor at University of Illinois – Chicago (formerly John Marshall). While in law school Michele spent two years as a law clerk in the Cook County Public Defender’s Homicide Task Force. She then worked on post-conviction appeals for those condemned to death in Mississippi with the Mississippi Office of Capital Post-Conviction Counsel.

After receiving numerous scholarships for her commitment to public service and competing with the school’s Moot Court Team, Michele accepted a position with the Miami Dade Public Defender’s Office. Michele spent 3 years with the Miami Dade Public Defender’s Office where she zealously represented her clients with compassion and fire. She brings that same commitment to her clients at Rier Jordan.
